"this is for sure the WORST hotel i have ever been to in my life...i checked out on a 3 day prepaid reservation after one terrible evening. the bedding was gross, the place was filthy, none of the amenities for the room that were listed for that hotel actually exsisted...no coffee maker, no fridge, everything was borken including the ice bucket which melted in the night and leaked all over the desk and my cell phone. the ac (or heat?)came on every 15 minutes all night long even though it was OFF, and sounded like a truck engine. people were yelling in the breezeway all night long. after a sickly 4 hours sleep i called to see if i could check out and the phone cord was full of someone elses hair. i'm totally disgusted and am for sure telling EVERYONE what i think of howard johnsons"

"In addition to the room charge I was charged $1.69 per night per room for the safe being in my room. I did not use the safe. I refused to pay this amount and the clerk did deduct it from my bill. I did not like the fact that they said everybody pays this, it should all be included in the room price.f I used it I would have paid."
